WHO WE ARE

Our Journey

We started as an idea to help Mindbody (a startup unicorn at that time) complete a project for which they had a very limited budget and which could be done remotely (offshore) and asynchronously from their daily product development and support. Eventually we scaled and enabled them to setup their offshore and largest R&D office in India.

Our ethos is to keep things simple, be extremely flexible and agile and above all, be a trusted partner to startup founders and entrepreneurs to help them build their product efficiently and scale it economically.

Rahul Bora

Founder - The Startup Factory

Rahul is a seasoned technology & business leader with global experience in several domains and industries, with a specific passion for working with startups. He launched and built a startup and successfully exited via sale to a Silicon Valley unicorn.

The Startup Factory is an extension of his work as an entrepreneur and an effort to help fellow startup founders build their MVP/product via flexible and cost-effective engineering outsourcing. He brings a strong mix of management, leadership, sales, team-building, people, technical, communication and presentation skills.

A dedicated customer advocate and trusted partner with strong ability to effectively understand and speak both “technical” and “business” language with cross-functional stakeholders, his goal is to help startups build their product efficiently and be sustainable for the long run.
